2012 Labor Day Tournament Checklist:

Team Representatives

Thank you for volunteering to be your team's Tournament Representative! Your efforts for this fundraiser help us keep member dues as low as possible, while providing a high-quality soccer experience for our players throughout the year.

You will participate in the Tournament Committee, recruit parent volunteers, and coordinate advertising solicitation. You may choose to share these tasks with other parents, but you are the primary Tournament contact for your team. This checklist shows the tasks in each area; detailed instructions and forms are included in this notice. Forms and updates will also be available on our Website, <>.

Attend All Tournament Committee Meetings! -– These are MANDATORY.
Please support your Tournament Committee. Meeting dates are as follows:
Wednesday, June 20       7:00-8:00 p.m., Moorestown HS - Instructional IT Theater
Wednesday, July 18         7:00-8:00 p.m., Moorestown HS - Instructional IT Theater
Wednesday, August 15    7:00-8:00 p.m., Moorestown HS - Instructional IT Theater

Your Team is automatically registered in the Labor Day Tournament
By July 15: Confirm accuracy of your team's roster for inclusion in the Program Book. Check players' names, team name, division, coaches -- and spelling! Check your teams roster on the MSC website.

By July 18: Submit the name of your team's Fields Committee representative to Joanne Toro, . Field work begins in August to prepare for the Tournament and fall season.

For Wednesday, August 29th: Recruit one volunteer from your team to work at registration (girls teams 5:00-7:00 p.m., boys teams 7:00-9:00 p.m.).

Labor Day weekend (September 1/2): See that your parents fulfill the team's assigned responsibility (Field/Location Coordinators, Runners, Setup, Vending, etc.). Assignments and hours needed will be confirmed at the second Tournament Committee meeting. Scheduling will be done on-line (coming soon), with the choice given to parents of available time slots.

Solicit Program Book Advertising! -- Each team is required to fulfill their minimum team contributions.
Team contributions may be calculated by multiplying team roster size by $60

ASAP: Notify team parents that team ads/advertiser form and corporate sponsorship forms are available on-line
By August 3rd: Ensure that all team ads have been e-mailed to
Ads submitted after August 3 rd,  will not appear in the program book, although the Club may choose to retain any revenue received after this date.

Remember!!! The top two teams in overall advertising revenues will win bonus credit ($400/$200) to their team account. BUT: To be eligible for this bonus, all ads/funds for your team must be submitted by August 3rd.
